Data are presented concerning the influence of ionospheric conditions on the propagation of short-wave signals between ground-based magnetic-conjugate points in the magnetosphere under both quiet and disturbed conditions. Particular attention is given to the relationship between short-wave and VLF signal propagation under such conditions. An almost-linear relationship between propagation times of short-wave and VLF signals is noted.
