A faint dwarf cepheid NJL 79 with a mean magnitude of 16.8 has been found at a distance of only 6 arcmin from the center of the globular cluster Omega Centauri. The period is approximately 91 min. The magnitude is within 0.1 the same as for the other known dwarf cepheid NJL 220 in the field of Omega Centauri, placing the two variables at approximately the same distance. Adopting NJL 79 to be a member of Omega Centauri an absolute magnitude of 3.0, which is typical for population II dwarf cepheids is obtained. Using the pulsation equation, a mass in the range 0.6-1.0 solar mass is obtained.
