An analysis is presented of data obtained during flights of the Aureole-1 satellite in January-February 1972 through the daytime sector of the auroral oval in the Southern Hemisphere. Proton and electron energy spectra are presented along with particle and energy fluxes along certain typical trajectories intersecting projections of structural regions of the magnetosphere onto ionospheric heights. The results are generalized in the form of two-dimensional schemes of proton and electron precipitation. Regions of precipitation with various types of energy spectra and energy and particle fluxes are related to the structure of the daytime magnetosphere. Results obtained with the proposed scheme are found to agree well with data obtained by other satellites.
