The correlation of seasonally corrected daily Sq(H) ranges is found to be slightly greater for pairs of stations which are at magnetically conjugate locations than for nonconjugate pairs of similar distance of separation. Data were collected from 130 stations for 352 solar-quiet days in 1964 and 1965. The analysis suggests that the present effect is due to field-aligned currents.
