The corrugated reflector model for simulating the effect of Travelling Ionospheric Disturbances is cast in a form enabling the compilation of families of curves for comparison with experimental observations. The expected Doppler, azimuthal and elevation variations in the received signal on a one-hop propagation circuit are discussed. Much information concerning the TID can be inferred from observations at a single receiving station.
