The CLUE experiment is presently an array of 8 telescopes detecting UV Cherenkov light from atmospheric showers. Preliminary results from the last 2 years of data taking are shown. 1998 campaigns on Markarian 421, Markarian 501 and the Crab Nebula. The 1998-1999 high-statistics campaign with the telescopes aiming directly at the Moon will be also presented. The last item is related with the measurement of the ratio p~/p in cosmic rays, in its turn of prominent importance to validate early Universe models. .
