Results from the analysis of the highly line rich X-ray spectra of Nova Velorum 1999 (V382 Vel) obtained with the Chandra LETGS high resolution spectrograph as well as with ACIS-I CCDs are presented. Details of the abundances, temperatures and densities from line ratios of He-like Ne, O, and N ions. and shell expansion from the line widths, as well as evolution of this ONeMg are discussed.
