The application of the physical parameter method in the solar X-ray telescope is discussed in this paper. The principles underlying the method are described and the calculation results are given. Analysis and calculations show that the energy densities of different structures in the solar corona can be measured quantitatively and directly by the method and that the results are more accurate than the filter ratio method.
