A statistical analysis for the symmetry of solar radio pulsations at short centimetric bands is given. At first, it is proved theoretically that the decay time-scale of a single pulse is approximately proportional to its rise time-scale, hence, the expected time-scale at decay phase is inversely proportional to the radio burst flux, the modularity at decay phase of a single pulse decreases with increasing the radio burst flux, and increases with increasing the decay time, and etc. There is a statistical unsymmetry for the contour of the pulsations. Therefore, the pulsations at short centimetric bands may be excited by a plasma instability.
