The author analysed the relationship between the time delays, spectral indices and magnetic fields in solar microwave bursts. He concludes: 1. As the spectral indices of non-thermal electrons drop to the minimum at t0, the flux densities of microwave bursts continue to increase, reach the peak 0.2 - 0.5 m after t0. 2. If the spectral indices of bursts are constant for a while after t0, there are no time delays. 3. The time delays are increasing with the time derivations of magnetic fields and spectral indices. 4. The time derivations of magnetic fields from multi-peak spectral indices and time delays are increasing linearly with time.
