In this paper the Amsterdam-Granada Light Scattering Database is presented. This is a combination of experimental data obtained with two instruments, one in Amsterdam and a more recent one in Granada. The data pertain mostly to scattering matrices of aerosols and hydrosols as functions of the scattering angle for various wavelengths in the visible part of the spectrum and to size distributions. Improvements with respect to the former Amsterdam Light Scattering Database are explained. By way of example, the usefulness of the database is demonstrated by applying it to dust in the atmosphere of Mars.
