Both primary and secondary lightcurve amplitudes are analysed as linear
functions of phase angle. In addition to the geometric shape effects a
difference due to surface variegation is indicated in the amplitudes.
The available observational data cannot give a definitive solution. More
observations and higher accuracy must be secured for selected objects.
