Minerals from the AMNH collections are highly characterized (crystal
XRD, EMPA), powdered <2 µm, reanalyzed (SEM, powder XRD), and
transmission IR spectra analyzed for Herschel PACS. Library minerals
will also serve reflectance spectra needs.
