The AAS supports and encourages research in the teaching and learning of
astronomy and astrophysics. Thus, the Society has been developing
programs, like comPADRE, and advocating for programs that disseminate
best practices, like the VIrtual Design Center. I will discuss these and
other resources that are now available for astronomy instructors.
