The age of an interstellar cloud is the mean age of the hydrogen it contains, It is pointed out that the arrow of time may have an interlude of reversal in a cloud that accretes large amounts of relativistic hydrogen in a dynamically active galaxy. If such a phenomenon occurred in the Orion region of the Milky Way, physical and chemical processes conductive to the formation of free-living cells may have been concomitant.
