The statistical acceleration of probe particles diffusing in a medium with large-scale weak random sound waves is considered. The acceleration rate of the particles depends on the value of the parameter D/(vs)L, where D is the spatial coefficient of diffusion, vs is the sound velocity, and L is the perturbation scale. The numerical estimates show that this mechanism may ensure the effective additional acceleration of cosmic rays with energies of 0.1-10 GeV in the interstellar medium.
