Observations have been obtained in emission near 4500/cm of the 0-0 band in SiC's A 3Sigma(-)-X 3Pi system. Internuclear separations are ascertained to be 1.81356 A for the A 3Sigma(-) state and 1.72187 A for the X 3Pi state. The ground molecular constants obtained and presented in tabular form are in good agreement with the values previously reported by Cernicharo et al. (1989), although it is expected that the present X 3Pi constants should be slightly superior.
