We utilize the neutrino pulses from the supernova SN 1987-a to put upper bounds on the possible dependence, cv=c+Kvvs of the velocity of neutrinos on the velocity of the source. By analyzing the time delay between the v pulse and the optical sighting we find Kv<=10-5. Also, Kv<=2×10-4 follows from considering the potential broadening of the neutrino pulses. The medium effects and the extinction phenomena play a key role and vastly weaken a limit Kv<=10-11 when would otherwise be suggested by the nonbroadening of the signal.
