A 12-m parabolic reflector is being built at Parkes as part of the research and development of the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP). The 12-m will be equipped with a prototype focal plane array (FPA) which will undergo rigorous testing throughout 2008. As part of a suite of tests, we would like to use the 64-m in conjunction with the 12-m as a highly sensitive, single baseline interferometer. We request 3 times 5 working days of 64-m time at frequencies around 1.4 GHz.
