The Global UltraViolet Imager (GUVI, http://guvi.jhuapl.edu/) was one of four instruments launched on NASA's TIMED satellite on December 7 2001. GUVI collected multispectral imaging data from January 7 2002 until the failure of the scan motor mechanism on December 10 2007, after which the instrument began gathering data in spectrograph mode (increased spectral information but more limited spatial coverage). As we near the tenth anniversary of the TIMED launch, the GUVI imaging and spectrograph mode data archives are being re-released with an updated calibration, the addition of some new data products, and expanded content in the Level 1B (geolocated and radiance calibrated) products. The updated GUVI radiance calibration incorporates the results from on-orbit calibration activities, including stellar observations. Additional fields in the GUVI Level 1B products provide the background components subtracted in the calibration process (predominantly scattered H I 1216 and O I 1304 emission), and an additional geolocation altitude (110 km) better suited to auroral studies. We discuss the calibration changes applied to the updated data archive and provide some highlights from this unique dataset, which now spans nearly an entire solar cycle.
