Cosmological studies using galaxy clusters rely on the valifity of their mass measurements at large radii. These require accurate gas temperature measurements at those radii and can be performed only for clusters in hydrostatic equilibrium. This project includes observations of nearby relaxed clusters set up to optimize such off-center temperature measurements.
