A data acquisition system is first described: three magnetic sensors and two telluric devices are set at the sea bottom, and the whole of the data, after amplification and filtering, is transmitted to the equipment on board the ship from which the devices are submerged. A short description is then given of the equipment on board comprising the telecommand apparatus of the submerged devices, data storage facilities on a magnetic tape compatible with computers, and control devices. Finally, there is a short report on the operating techniques and experimental outlook.
