The theoretical bases and current status of underground particle-physics experiments are discussed in reviews and reports. Sections are devoted to nonstandard theoretical models; cosmic rays, monopoles, and proton decay; neutrinos; gravitational waves; solar neutrinos; nuclear physics problems in underground detectors; astroparticle physics and dark matter; neutrinos from supernovae; and dark matter and relic particles. Diagrams, drawings, graphs, photographs, and tables of numerical data are provided.
