From the many approaches to (2+l)-d gravity, we focus here on two
discrete ones, 't Hooft's scheme using polygons and Regge calculus,
where there are striking similarites between some of the formulae. By
studying how these relationships arise, we hope to improve our
understanding of both approaches [1]...
