The effects of magnetic inhomogeneities on electron and photon spectra in synchrotron radiation are examined. The presence of a different type of break (besides the one due to dynamical losses), is confirmed by numerical calculations. Moreover the time evolution of spectra for a given choice of the magnetic field is studied, and the implications of the results are discussed.
