The present work deals with the classical behavior of matter represented by chiral miltiplets in a background of N = 1 supergravity. The WKB method is used. It is shown that supersymmetric coupling leads, at the lowest order, to a nongeodesic motion law for spin-1/2 matter. This result permits physical differences to be established with respect to gravitational theories with minimal coupled matter Lagrangians. Deviations from the Newton law are found, allowing speculation about low-energy effects for testing supergravity.
