UV Per was detected in outburst on November 04.767, 2003 (2452948.267). On November 07.8330, 2003 (2452951.3330) UT superhumps were detected indicating that this was a superoutburst. The superoutburst continued until around November 19, 2003 (2452963) UT. 11,545 CCD observations were reported to the AAVSO during the superoutburst providing a superhump period of 95.92 +/- 0.006 minutes with a decline of 0.05 per day and an amplitude decline of 3.1 per day. In addition, a supercycle of 871 +/- 379 days was calculated based on the past 40 years of superoutburst behavior.
