Sunspot observations are taken on a regular basis, and then analyzed in a systematic methodology at the Dept. of Astronomy at King Abdul Aziz University (KAAU). In this article we investigate the accuracy of these observations for the period of 12 years (1982-1993), and compare them to that of the international Sunspot Index Data Center (SIDC) derived by A. Koeckelenbergh in Brussels, Belgium. A mean value of Kappa, of the order 1.76, was calculated and showed a very good agreement with the international results. Our results could potentially be utilized locally and internationally for different study and research purposes.
