Specific electromagnetic radiation arising in the preparation zone of tectonic earthquakes ten minutes to several hours prior to the event is analyzed, taking into account the general heliogeophysical situation with an analysis of cases of coincidence in time with sudden ionospheric disturbances. The selection of earthquakes for which the anomalous electromagnetic radiation has been recorded include solar minimum years as well as years of high solar activity.
