The behavior of the photonuclear cross section for inelastic muon scattering at energies greater than 100 GeV is investigated using data obtained with an ionization calorimeter and hodoscopic detectors. It is found that the nuclear-interaction cross section depends on three parameters, but only one of these can be determined from the results of the present experiment. The obtained value of this parameter is shown to agree with previous determinations.
