Results of a study of meteors recorded by vhf forward scatter propagation between Dehra Dun and Waltair during Dec. 1974 are presented. High meteor activity is indicated on 12 Dec. when the Geminid shower is known to be active, and minimum activity of meteors is indicated on 23 dec. which is taken as a typical non-shower day. The variation of daily mean hourly rates of radio meteors in December is found to agree well with that of visual meteors over Waltair. The diurnal variations in the activity of shower and non-shower meteors are also studied and the results presented.
