The method demonstrated by Duggal et al. (1971) is used here to study the pitch angle anisotropic distribution of solar cosmic ray flux during SCR events observed recently (1976 and later). It is found that, like in events reported earlier, the particle flux reaching a particular location is proportional to the cosine of the angle between the axis of symmetry and the mean asymptotic direction of viewing of the neutron monitoring station. In few events, however, the pitch angle distribution is not applicable throughout the entire three-dimensional space covered by the world-wide network of neutron monitors.
