The neutron star-white dwarf binary PSRJ1141-6545 is a powerful target for testing general relativty (GR) and other theories of gravity. Our 7 yrs of timing campaign has led to precise measurements of its orbital decay and other relativistic parameters, providing strong confirmation of GR in such gravitationally asymmetric systems and allowing us to place stringent constraints on tensor-scalar theories, the best-motivated alternatives to GR. We propose to continue this encouraging work further with the eventual goal of conducting even more stringent tests in the future.
