The responses of three different types of EAS detectors to cosmic rays were recorded simultaneously by means of a transient muon t1/2 oscilloscope, a transient muon t1/2 recorder, a muon t20-70 oscilloscope, a Cerenkov t1/2 recorder, and a scintillator t1/2 recorder. The results of the transient recorder muon t1/2 measurements agree with Lapiken's calculations at core distances below about 400 m. Predictions of a model which incorporates Feynman scaling and a proton-proton cross-section increasing with energy could be reconciled with experimental results by assuming iron primaries. Some anomalous events are described.
