The luminosity function for the O,B,A spectral types for M(V) = -7m to +2m is determined on the basis of a catalog of BV magnitudes and spectral types of 1150 stars in an area containing the W3/W4 star formation regions and the Cas OB6 asssociation of high-luminosity stars. In this area, a local density enhancement of stars brighter than M(V) = -4m is found.
