The problem of the formation of the asteroidal belt in the solar system
is qualitatively well-founded. This process is a stochastic
semi-stationary Markov process, if the objects form a stochastic
dynamical system. Basic equations for this process and the
characteristic energy distribution of known minor planets are derived.
