This paper reports on SiO 86 GHz observations of 33 IRAS evolved stars with H2O or OH maser. SiO maser emission was detected in five sources all without previously known SiO detections. A tentative SiO emission was detected from the source IRAS 18585+0900. The oxygen/carbonrichness of the circumstellar of IRAS 18585+0900 is discussed.
