We report on measurements of neutron capture rates on 128Xe, 129Xe and 130Xe in the energy range of astrophysical relevance using a technique that allowed us to obtain uncertainties of about 2% as well as on resonance studies of experimental data for all stable neon isotopes including 21Ne. With these results the stellar rates could be determined for the relevant temperature range from kT = 1 keV to 100 keV. This information is used to investigate the s-process yields of Ne and Xe isotopes during He-shell burning in thermally pulsing AGB stars and to discuss the resulting implications for the noble gas components in presolar grains.
