A random process is constructed for the modeling of two-hop propagation in the midlatitude ionosphere with allowance for its random spatial-temporal relationhips. Statistical simulation is used to examine the distribution of the mode structure in the two-point formulation of the ray-tracing problem with allowance for the spatial correlation properties of the ionosphere as a function of range and relative frequency.
