Scientific paper

The purpose of this paper is to treat theoretically the Stark broadening
of the 4471 Å He(I) line and explain the experimental profiles
emitted in cool (Te< 40,000 K) and high electron density
plasmas (Ne> 5.0×1017cm-3).
The results are in very good agreement with recent experimental data.
