Analysis of time-resolved x-ray spectroscopic data from microballoon
implosions conducted using the Nova and Omega lasers is presented. The
analytical technique combines Stark broadened line profiles using NLTE
relative intensities, including the effects of ion dynamics, opacity
broadening, and an estimate of plasma induced shifts.
