The results of a computer simulation of the evolution of cometary orbits
are compared with the positions of comets calculated on the basis of a
statistical theory of stable isoenergetic complexes. The data obtained
indicate that these complexes and the multibelt reservoirs of comets are
related formations of the stable structures of the solar system.
