Sufficient conditions of the orbital stability of periodic Poincaresolutions in the case of intrinsic degeneracy are derived for a class of Hamiltonian systems with two degrees of freedom. As an application, attention is given to the orbital stability of periodic Poincaresolutions in the problem concerning periodic motions with respect to the center of mass of a dynamically symmetric satellite with a quasi-spherical ellipsoid of inertia in circular orbit.
