Spin-flip probabilities and the differential cross sections for the 26Mg(3He,t)26Al*(1+1.058 MeV) reaction have been measured at E3He=177 MeV. This is the first spin-flip probability data for the (3He,t) reaction in the energy region above 20 MeV/A. The data are compared with distorted wave Born approximation calculations by using the 3He-n effective interaction extracted from the differential cross sections. .
