The authors report highly resolved Hα profiles and their time
variations for selected F supergiant stars suspected as the
proto-planetary nebulae including UU Her. Even in small samples one can
recognize different kinds of profiles which reflect the structure and
activity of extended atmosphere of such supergiants.
