The Wide Band Spectrometer (WBS) will be flown on the Solar-A satellite to observe a flare photon spectrum from soft X-rays to gamma-rays. The WBS consists of three spectrometers: a soft X-ray spectrometer of a gas proportional counter covering the 2-30 keV band, hard X-ray spectrometer of a NaI scintillation counter covering the 20-400 keV band and gamma-ray spectrometer of two BGO scintillation counters covering the 0.2-100 MeV band. The details of the spectral capabilities of the Wide Band Spectrometer are described.
