Results are reported for photoelectric spectrophotometric observations of Nova Cygni 1975 over the wavelength range between 3100 and 6800 A, which were performed in the period from September 7 to December 26, 1975. The evolution of the nova spectrum is described, and the equivalent widths of strong lines and bands are determined together with the H-alpha line half-width. The absolute spectral energy distribution of the nova is obtained and used to determine energy fluxes in various lines, the Balmer jump, and an estimate of the 'bright-band effect' in the V system. The Balmer decrement is calculated for September 7-9 and October 1; H-alpha/H-beta intensity ratios are provided for the remaining nights.
