We present spectra of SS Cygni obtained with the 2-meter telescope Zeiss-2000 (Terskol, Russia) during quies- cent and active states of the system. Using these spectra along with results of 3D gas dynamical simulations we investigated the structure of the matter flow and parameters of the accretion disk in the system. An opportunity to use ob- servations of the space oservatory WSO-UV to investigate innermost regions of the accretion disk is discussed.
