A variety of remote sensing data was used to determine the composition
and origin of spectral anomalies (Red Spots) in the Imbrium region.
Pyroclastic material is largely responsible for producing the spectral
anomaly at Archimedes. Gruithuisen Gamma and Delta are volcanic
constructs.
