During solar eclipses, fine ray-like structures can be observed in coronal holes. In order to determine whether these structures might be preserved in the evolving interplanetary high-speed solar wind, plasma and magnetic field data obtained by the two Helios solar probes were used. For the time period from 1974 till 1977, 41 high-speed solar wind streams were analyzed which were measured between 0.3 and 1 AU. The velocity of protons and alpha-particles as well as the combined gas pressure of protons, alpha-particles, and electrons, the magnetic pressure, and the total pressure were investigated. Many time periods with a strong anticorrelation between the variations in the gas pressure and the magnetic pressure were found while the total pressure was roughly constant. These features are interpreted as structural relics of coronal origin.
